1st Directory Election
香港維基媒體協會第一次理事會選舉將於第二次會員大會 (特別會員大會)期間舉行，希望各合資格會員踴躍參加本次選舉，履行會員義務及為本會服務。

選舉事務委員會
為了達致選舉公平，臨時理事會根據章程細則置選舉事務委員會安排選舉事宜。

選舉辦法事宜
- 選舉辦法（本辦法）只適用於香港維基媒體協會（本會）第一次理事會選舉。
- 本次理事會選舉會選出6名理事，所有選舉安排由選舉事務委員會決定。
- 候選人及提名人均須於提名日或之前年滿18歲之會員。
- 各候選人必須最少取得5名合資格會員提名作為提名人，而候選人不得自我提名。
- 選舉只限本會會員及已獲選舉事務委員會授權或邀請之人士出席，如非本會會員有需要進入選舉會場之人士，必須向選舉事務委員會提出申請。
- 選舉當日，一旦選舉程序開始，不論是否會員皆不得入場，未能入場之會員均不得參與是次投票。
- 在自提名期開始至選舉結束期間，所有會員不得發表誹謗、中傷或其他惡意影響選舉結果的言論，否則選舉事務委員會將有權褫奪該等會員之投票權，並保留將該等人士交由理事會作紀律處分之權利。
- 本辦法的解釋權屬選舉事務委員會。
- 本辦法須經選舉事務委員會通過的決議案而作出增加、廢除或修訂，而該項決議案須獲得三分之二或以上贊成，方可通過。
- 如本辦法與本會《組織章程大綱》或《組織章程細則》衝突或抵觸時，概以本會《組織章程大綱》及《組織章程細則》為準。

是次選舉有6位候選人參選，以下是各參選人資料及政綱：

- As a local chapter of the Wikimedia foundation, we should also aware what the web 2.0 community is doing. We should also communicate, co-operate and maintain good relationship with the local or even regional free culture advocates and their groups like Creative commons, as well as those active bloggers, and also join their public activities like punch party, or bloggers' conference (Nov 2009), etc. We would also cooperate with the chapters around the world, and establish a better mutual support relationship.
- We are also planning to cooperate with the HKedcity with the open source textbook for liberal studies (and other subject later on), as well as seeking for more sponsorship opportunities, like from the dotasia organization and etc. Moreover, we are encouraging the public to donate more to the chapter.
- Last but not least, we will also address on the problem of the censorship and content filtering problem (GFW) in the PRC, as well as the idea concerning information freedom, like the proposal of obscenity laws as well as the proper use of the intellectual property ownership issues. In fact, we are also planning to have a public forum with the ISOC-HK about web2.0 in late July, as a part of the anniversary celebrations of the chapter.
- 作為維基媒體基金會的本地分會, 我們也關注本地web2.0社群的活動；我們應與本地，甚至是在附近地區有關自由文化的關注者及其組織，如共享創意香港以及與bloggers 多作交流及維持友好的合作關係。 我們也可以多參與他們所舉辨的活動，如punch party及網誌年會(11月左右等)。我們當然也會與世界各地的維基媒體社群合作，建立更好的互助關係。
- 再者,我們也打算與香港教育城合作推動關於通識教育的開源教科書(以及是其他科目)；而且也積極尋找不同機構的贊助，如dotasia organization等。此外，我們也鼓勵更多人捐款支持協會。
- 最後，我們關注中國大陸封禁及過濾(金盾)的問題；也關注開放版權，以及淫審條例等與網路自由有關的議題。事實上，我們也將會在七月下旬與香港互聯網協會合辨一個關於web2.0的論壇，作為週年活動的一部分。

- 本人自2004年起參與維基媒體，並於2006年協助籌辦第一屆中文維基年會。在其後成立的香港維基媒體協會籌備委員會及臨時理事會，本人擔任財政角色。
- 本人參與維基媒體以來，認識了自由文化。我在本年度的分會會議 (Chapter meeting)中，向其他國家的分會交代了香港在版權及自由文化方面的情況，也充份表現了自己與外國人之間的溝通能力。
